An anthology feature film exploring contemporary Black existence through the Pan-African flag: A collegiate football star scrambles to save his career after a devastating injury fractures his sense of self-worth; a Ghanaian single mother loses her job and faces deportation as an unlikely group of heroes rally around her; the lead of a struggling Black sitcom questions the cost of success as the network forces the show into racist caricature to boost ratings.

Rob Welling meets Kyle Fowst at his father's funeral and they quickly become friends yet Rob is troubled by the appearance of an enigmatic humming man leading them to discover a world hidden beyond the realms of reality where a monstrous cult work to 're-cast' people from the outside world into their 'actors' on their 'stage' and work to resurrect their master: An ancient sorcerer named Eritaz. As Rob is taken in by the chaos, its up to Kyle to use the jewel he left behind and uncover the mysteries of reality before it's too late.

Love Thing captures the emerging multicultural spirit and personal freedom of the late 1970s with an outrageous attitude and experimental style. A work in progress now finally completed it's the last American musical comedy from that era which can be viewed today as a prophetic satire. Through its provocative, entertaining storyline highlighted by song and dance, the movie answers the burning question of our time, "What happens after the marriage?
