A party is organised at kindergarten for the birthday of six-year-old Pooria. But the star of the party is a hired actress dressed as Cinderella who is the centre of everyone's attention. While the birthday party is being filmed with the style of a home video, little Pooria falls in love with Cinderella. As the camera passes from hand to hand, it will also record the behind-the-scenes of this fairytale party.

An extraordinary film about memory, and specifically the fading memory of an 86-year-old political activist who has fought tirelessly against historical amnesia and for justice in Argentina. The director’s grandmother, Laura Bonaparte, was one of the founders of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, formed during the 1970s by women whose children and family members had been disappeared by the Videla military dictatorship. Laura herself lost three children and their partners, including the director’s parents. Today, after a lifetime battling that the disappeared never be forgotten, Laura faces her own struggle to remember.

After taking part in the Movement, the daughter of a middle-age couple decided to look for a Burmese girl in exile at Thailand due to political persecution. The couple’s world shattered when their daughter’s flight went missing. Grief-stricken but undeterred, the couple followed their daughter’s plan in searching for the elusive Burmese girl. Their journey reveals different paths to cope with grief and to reach closure.
