Cameras focus on one of the UK’s most visited destinations at the festive season. We experience the delight of the Christmas market in the town of Broadway, where its High Street becomes a bustling winter wonderland of stalls and late-night shopping. Plus, a visit to a luxury hotel to see how a top chef makes a festive afternoon tea to remember.

Follows the journeys of four members at Headway East London’s Day Centre: Yoki, who began as a Headway member, now works with the charity, providing emotional support and advocacy to other brain injury survivors. Dave, a former chauffeur to the rich and famous, has embraced cooking and is developing his artistic talents. Margie, life and soul of the community, who spreads joy through her love for food and music, and Marie-Claire who has rebuilt her life after an aneurysm left her in a coma at forty.
The short film shows real footage of the city of London and the area around the River Thames. The commentary is spoken by a member of the London Water Police in German with an English accent. Together with the commentator, the viewer takes part in a boat trip on the Thames, which begins above London and then shows the western suburbs, the government district, the West End, the south bank of the Thames, the city and the harbor area of the metropolis.
