Summer 1939. Influential families in Nazi Germany have sent their daughters to a finishing school in an English seaside town to learn the language and be ambassadors for a future looking National Socialist. A teacher there sees what is coming and is trying to raise the alarm. But the authorities believe he is the problem.

LIMINAL tells the story of Vincent Marcum, a world-renowned quantum physicist who lost his wife and daughter in a tragic accident in 2001. Once a towering figure in the scientific community, Vincent has since withdrawn from the world, isolating himself in relentless pursuit of a singular goal, bending time itself. For decades, he has obsessively dedicated his life to achieving the impossible: time travel. Now, in the year 2053, at 86 years old, he finally succeeds. But in his research, he uncovers a disturbing truth: time does not curve as once theorized; it moves in a straight, unyielding line. This revelation carries terrifying implications... What happens when you travel back to the past and no one was there?

When the double wedding takes two daughters away from the old man at once, the youngest, now the only one left, in outraged spirit promises never to leave her father, but soon she too is departing for a new home. Then comes a cold hard fact of life. The son-in-law claims his right to make a home alone for his wife. In his bitterness and anger, the father denies them both the house. Several years later the lonely old man meets at the gate a babe in arms. When he learns whose baby it is, heart hunger craves another sight, and sought, brings with it the only natural result.

Albine is bereft and heartbroken after she is abandoned by her lover. Tearing flowers, almost in a frenzy, from the garden where they consummated their love, she creates what will become her deathbed. As she lies amongst the petals, she suffocates on their overwhelming perfume and thus embraces her death. Inspired by the French novel La Faute de l'Abbé Mouret (The Sin of Father Mouret, or The Sinful Priest) by Émile Zola.

Hasan (33), who works as a sales manager in a construction company, and his wife Farida (30) have not been able to have children for a long time. After a doctor's examination, Hasan learns that he is infertile. But Hasan, who is afraid of harming his masculinity, hides this information from his wife. At the insistence of Hasan's mother, who thinks that the problem is in Sevda, they go to a midwife who lives in a village for treatment.

Gerry is a talented but down-on-his-luck gambler whose fortunes begin to change when he meets Curtis, a younger, highly charismatic poker player. The two strike up an immediate friendship and Gerry quickly persuades his new friend to accompany him on a road trip to a legendary high stakes poker game in New Orleans. As they make their way down the Mississippi River, Gerry and Curtis manage to find themselves in just about every bar, racetrack, casino, and pool hall they can find, experiencing both incredible highs and dispiriting lows, but ultimately forging a deep and genuine bond that will stay with them long after their adventure is over.

Number 4 (self-portrait with Mattias) is an intimate short film about the close bond between Maya (23) and Mattias (26), which slowly changes shape after Mattias suddenly loses his mother. While Mattias becomes increasingly entangled in his grieving process, Maya slowly realizes that his loss also means the loss of their familiar relationship.
