“Angry Young Man” is Aakash Gupta’s first hour-long standup DIGITAL comedy special. Frustrated and grumpy about things he sees and feels, the comedian who is always asked, “Tu hasta kyu nahi?” expresses his annoyance through humorous stories about life, from school days, to his recent trip to Europe.

Sindhu Vee - ALPHABET In her deeply personal stand-up special ALPHABET, Sindhu Vee explores being a parent (to kids who really haven't turned out how she had expected), being married (to a great communicator), being a sister (to someone waaay cooler than her) and being a child (who has lost her beloved mother). Vee also considers other serious topics: the hair we want, the friends we have, and what exactly makes a balloon fancy?

Stand-up comedian Gary Owen shares stories of being married to the daughter of a founding member of the Black Panthers, being the father of young teenagers and, of course, his hillbilly family. Filmed at the Stardome in Hoover, Alabama, the special also includes Gary recounting his time in the military, celebrity weddings and bumping into Lebron James in the bathroom.

The show is about finding yourself by looking inside yourself. More specifically, it is about recognizing that you are a bad feminist and finding peace with that. About not letting your opinions be dictated by others and about how some people cannot claim ownership of a word or a definition. It is about there being room to be bad at something and that it is perfectly okay. In the spring of 2017, you can experience Zulu Comedy Galla Talent Award winner Ane Høgsberg in her debut one-woman show for the first time. She will be accompanied by a surprise warm-up act, which (without giving too much away) proves that the stand-up industry is not made up of white, oppressive men, but is actually full of supportive and good colleagues who can recognize talent when they see it and are always willing to back it up and, well, well, warm up for one of the new stars in the Danish stand-up firmament.
