Gaia arrives late to the most important rehearsal of her life. The premiere is tomorrow, but her lack of discipline costs her the role. Gaia is carrying an unbearable secret, an invisible wound that can only be purged through dance. When she is given one last chance to prove herself, the choreography becomes a ritual of catharsis and pain, pushing Gaia’s physical and mental integrity to its limits.

A woman who has just turned 22 has finished her degree, but without a job and constantly comparing herself to others, she feels her life is a failure. That's why, after initially ignoring the problem, she tries to find solutions and embarks on a journey of self-discovery to take the first step and help herself.

X-ray images were invented in 1895, the same year in which the Lumière brothers presented their respective invention in what today is considered to be the first cinema screening. Thus, both cinema and radiography fall within the scopic regime inaugurated by modernity. The use of X-rays on two sculptures from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum generates images that reveal certain elements of them that would otherwise be invisible to our eyes. These images, despite being generally created for technical or scientific purposes, seem to produce a certain form of 'photogénie': they lend the radiographed objects a new appearance that lies somewhere between the material and the ethereal, endowing them with a vaporous and spectral quality. It is not by chance that physics and phantasmagoria share the term 'spectrum' in their vocabulary.
