Inah lives a solitary life with her cat, Frida. Trapped in a process of grief, she retreats into her paintings. When Daniela, Inah’s granddaughter, comes to visit, she begins to notice some unusual behaviors. Amid moments of affection, joy, and forgetfulness, Dani realizes that Frida represents more of an escape than a refuge for her grandmother.

While painting intuitively, Fran recounts defining moments of her journey as a trans woman. In an intimate space, the short film builds, through voice and color, a sensitive narrative about identity, body, and hope. Between brushstrokes and silences, a life is revealed—one that resists and finds recognition through art.
