When pretty dress-maker Andy joins a motley crew of brides-to-be for a grueling bridal boot camp, where young ladies learn how to become "better" brides, she thinks she's found the perfect place to become the perfect bride. But when Andy meets Casey, a handsome delivery man who doesn't believe in marriage, she starts to question her picture perfect image of her current engagement and what marriage truly means.

On Christmas Eve, Léa and Juliette, a couple, want to rob a supermarket that Juliette knows is empty of surveillance on this festive evening. Drifter and small-time con man Sheldon Bart encounters old friend, Brother Bud Sanders, a big-time con artist into faith healing and fencing stolen cars, at his revival tent outside a small town. Whilst helping Brother Bud, Sheldon falls in love with deeply religious and deeply lonely supermarket clerk Arlene, who believes in UFOs. When Arlene has a vision of an approaching UFO, everyone deals with the impending doom in their own ways.

At 35, Tripp has an interesting job, a hip car, a passion for sailing, an active dating life, and a great house - trouble is, he still lives with his parents, Al and Sue, who are not happy about it. Al and Sue are fascinated when friends whose adult son has recently moved away from home reveal they hired an expert to help. In desperation to push Tripp out of the nest once and for all, Al and Sue hatch a plan to hire Paula, an "interventionist," who has a formula in these cases.

After a particularly brutal beating, however, Randy hangs up his tights, pursues a serious relationship with a long-in-the-tooth stripper, and tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter.
