Returning from Rome, Warsaw writer Wacław Kisielecki's car breaks down late one evening on a country road, forcing him and his chauffeur, Konstanty, to seek lodging at a nearby manor house. Its owner is a young man, Jan, who has been managing the dilapidated estate since his mother's death. All that remains of the former estate are the manor house, a vast orchard, and two servants: Stanisław, the caretaker, and his beautiful young wife, Faustyna, who runs Jan's household.

A scientific researcher, sent on a government study: The Lupus Project, must investigate the possible "menace" of wolves in the north. Alexandra has been playing tennis for as long as she can remember. After years of training under the instructions of her father, Julio (a retired tennis player who intends to relive his victories through his daughter), she has become one of the most promising junior tennis players in the Spanish circuit. During one of the most important tournaments of the 1978 season, the increasing pressure from her father will exert on and off the court will begin to affect her mental health. With the arrival of adolescence and the questions it brings, Alex will realize that, perhaps, this is not her destiny.

The short film focuses on a young man who seems to be struggling to manage the "demands" of everyday life. From the very beginning, we notice that every movement he makes exudes fatigue, and his gaze is expressionless. Despite his mental discomfort, he manages to prepare for his visit to the family doctor in order to be informed about his health condition.
