The 3rd installment in James A. Burkhalter's QUEER ROOTS trilogy: After years of his mother begging him to do it, James decides to finally review and erase 10 years' worth of phone messages. It tells the story of James' "roaring twenties," constructed solely through the voices of friends, family, and lovers.

Set in a semi-urban coastal village of Kerala, “Beneath the Wings of Rosary Beads” follows a fishing community where faith and labor intertwine. Susan Maria, guided by recurring dreams of abundance, returns to the sea; Rosie anchors life in devotion; and Robert recalls a fading past. Through daily rhythms, memories, and conversations, the film explores belief, risk, and generational change, as faith continues to shape life by the shore.

The painter Alfredo Romero locks himself in his studio-apartment in the Estación de Francia neighborhood in Mollet del Vallès (Barcelona) to create the final painting of his series Paisajes interiores (Inner Landscapes).
