Anyone who claims that you can't live with half a heart should be invited to a fairy tale about a king who once gained a crown in exchange for half his own heart. He gained a crown for part of his heart, but he lost much more – himself, his wife and his child. The prince must undergo difficult trials and fight a witch to save King Oskar and the kingdom...

One day, King Yeremei decides to go on a long hike in order to consider all his areas and compile their register. A well appears on his way home, but as soon as the sovereign bent over him, he was seized by the underwater king Chudo-Yudo and demanded an unusual ransom for his release — that which is in the state of Yeremei, but which he does not know about. The tsar is forced to agree to these conditions, because he thinks that each blade of grass was taken into account in the inventory — he still does not suspect that in his absence the Queen gave birth to him an heir.

"Kin no Tori" is an adaptation of the homonymous fairy tale "The Golden Bird" by Brothers Grimm. A golden apple is stolen from the King's garden. The King orders his three sons to guard the apples in turn and to find out who is the thief. When the youngest son, Hans, presents a feather that he got from the golden bird that stole the apple the king sends his three sons to bring this bird to him and so Hans' journey begins.

Orphaned crown prince Sigismund, controlled by regent Queen Freya, climbs the Falcon dynasty's sacred tower with help from sorceress Eleonor, reawakened to magic by her adopted daughter Rapunzel, Sigi’s childhood friend.
