A feature-length documentary that explores the lives of four remarkably different people who share a common thread - they're all vegan. The movie traces the personal journeys of an ultramarathon runner who has overcome addiction to compete in one hundred mile races, a cattle rancher's wife who creates the first cattle ranch turned farmed animal sanctuary in Texas, a food truck owner cooking up knee-buckling plant-based foods, and an 8-year-old girl who convinces her family of six to go vegan.

Cindy Crawford returns to the exercise game with her 2000 release A New Dimension. She planned the video as a guide to getting back in shape after giving birth. Viewers with that same plan should find the lesson helpful. Trainer Kathy Kaehler, also a new mom, assists with the workout. There are three different segments featuring various levels of difficulty. The first incorporates stretching and some movements like lunges and squats. The second part is a slightly longer aerobic set with simple steps. Workout B ends with more toning and balance exercises. The last segment is mainly a stamina test for both cardio and muscle endurance. Though the steps are more complicated, they are never very difficult. Overall, A New Dimension can be used in parts or run together for an entire hour of exercise.
Taking pride in transforming the health and bodies of his clients, underwear model and personal trainer PJ (Paul James) was frustrated by his inability to connect with many overweight people in his bid to help them shed the kilos. Often they'd say: 'You don't know what its like to be fat'. PJ set out to change that. He aimed to gain 40kg (88lbs) of bodyfat to experience for himself the physical and psychological effects of obesity, before embarking on his own weight-loss regime. With insight from leading scientists and academics surrounding the science of obesity, highlighted by PJ's own struggles and those of his clients, Fat and Back reveals the seldom-heard perspective of one of the most serious health issues in the Western World.
When dieting guru Rosemary Conley declares that the Ultimate Whole Body Workout is her last fitness video, cynics might either be relieved that the population is finally to be spared her evangelical diet-speak, or conclude that she's "past it". However, this programme is not so easily dismissed. There might be nothing new here, but there is no doubt that a great deal of Conley's success comes from her ability to motivate. Conley first runs through the key moves featured in the work-outs, cleverly eliminating the problem of figuring it out during the sessions--and the risk of giving up. The 35-minute aerobic workout and the 20-minute body conditioning session are designed to be done on alternative days, while the final chair programme is for those with limited mobility (including pregnant women) who still want to burn calories.
Fitness expert Richard Simmons gets some of his friends together and invites you to the High School Prom. But there's no need to rent a gown or a tuxedo, just come as you are. This is an aerobic exercise party where, instead of boring elevator music, you get to work out to ten of the biggest hit songs from the 1950's & '60's performed by a live band! "Dancing in the Streets," "Beyond the Sea," "On Broadway," "It's My Party," "Peggy Sue," "Great Balls of Fire," "Wipeout," "He's a Rebel," "Personality" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." If you need to get or stay fit, but want to have fun while doing it, let Richard and his friends show you the way!
The documentary centers around four young, ambitious women living a highly disciplined and structured life to achieve the desired Bikini Fitness competition body. For these women their body is a subject of constant observation and reflection. It is to be controlled, changed, modified and constructed. And finally, the gaze of an external observer - that of a coach and a judge - will determine when that well-crafted figure is complete and whose is the best.
