Police Inspector Brigitte Hasentritt, who investigated Clarissa’s murder, becomes a central figure, marrying one of Michaela’s ex-husbands, owning most of the company, and facing vampires and attack dogs. By the series’ end, all characters are vampires, crossdressers, or insane.
