Based on Michel Houellebecq's controversial novel, Atomised (aka The Elementary Particles) focuses on Michael and Bruno, two very different half-brothers and their disturbed sexuality. After a chaotic childhood with a hippie mother only caring for her affairs, Michael, a molecular biologist, is more interested in genes than women, while Bruno is obsessed with his sexual desires, but mostly finds his satisfaction with prostitutes. But Bruno's life changes when he gets to know the experienced Christiane. In the meantime, Michael meets Annabelle, the love of his youth, again.

Three interweaving stories of the men whose lives are turned upside down by an irresistible Belle Gunness. The conversation of sex is never boring! Belle is beautiful. Belle is sexy. Belle knows what she wants. Few will admit it, but every man wants her for his own. Franklin Dear has done everything to get under her skin but Belle always ends up on top. Who will take home the Belle of the ball?

Wayne loves his wife Judy, but he is beginning to feel that their sex life is lacking. A conversation with his best friend convinces him to try out a swingers club, which he decides to scope out before attempting to bring Judy along. While there, he is seduced by an irresistible stranger, whose tight dress and erotic come-ons are too much for Wayne's conscience to resist. But Wayne doesn't realize that Judy has some plans of her own, and the seductress is not as unfamiliar as at first she seems.
