Craft beer, microbrewery, small brewery, IPA, IBU, gypsy brew, surface and secondary fermentation – these are just a small selection of keywords that have been heard more and more often among serious beer enthusiasts in the last few years. Today, new small breweries still account for less than a few percent of the total market, and the topics related to them are so frequent on the lips of enthusiasts and in the wider media that a legitimate question arises: what is it all about? “Beer Revolution” does not provide direct answers, but it offers a kaleidoscopic overview of craft beer producers, sellers and consumers in Estonia in 2015.

From 1953 to 1987, no beer was brewed on a commercial basis in San Diego County, period. Now some two decades plus on, San Diego County wins more brewing medals in national and international competitions than entire US states. In the 2010 World Beer Cup, one of brewing's most prestigious international contests, San Diego brewers and breweries took home more medals than Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom combined! SUDS COUNTY, USA tells the remarkable story of this brewing renaissance and covers the inextricable connection between the local pro brewers and home brewers who made this transition possible.

Brewing a great-tasting beer requires more than hops and barley. It takes innovation and an artist’s vision to create a brew that stands out from the rest. That’s why the art of beer making has played an integral part in establishing Tampa Bay as one of the top craft beer scenes in the country. Tampa Bay has a long history with beer. It’s home to Florida’s first brewery, Florida Brewing Company, which still stands and survived adversities like Prohibition and the Great Depression. And in the past decade, the region has redefined the craft beer scene with pioneers like Cigar City Brewing redefining the craft and precision that makes Tampa Bay beer internationally renowned. Tampa Beer: Crafting The Bay tells the story of a destination that loves beer and the personalities who dedicate their lives brewing it. From hipster havens to historic districts, meet the people and places who make Tampa Bay the heart of Florida’s craft beer scene.
Michael Jackson is a legend in the world of craft brewing. His 1977 book, The World Guide to Beer, was the first of its kind, and the first to categorize almost every major style of beer in the world. His 1993 television series, The Beer Hunter, became an instant classic, and helped launch the spectacular craft beer movement that we take for granted today. Michael's engaging writing literally saved many styles of beer from extinction, and his work inspired an entire generation of brewers to experiment with beer styles from around the world. Many in the beer world are unaware that Michael was also the leading author on the subject of whiskey, and his books on whiskey have sold more copies worldwide than his books on beer. His sudden death in 2007, at the age of 65, shocked the beer and whiskey worlds. His legacy and contributions were substantial, and should be recognized and remembered. As a person, Michael was one of the best, as those fortunate enough to know him can attest to.
