A professional card player and swindler, Icharev, arrives in a small town with a plan to rip off some local jackdaw if possible. However, a trio of local, experienced swindlers have the same plan. They want to play cards with Icharev, but they immediately recognize each other's personalities. The fun continues, but the group regrets that they have no one to play with. There is a local landowner, Glov, but he avoids cards like the devil. And yet he is waiting for two hundred thousand rubles from the bank for the sold piece of land. Of course, the gentlemen will not miss their chance... A recording of a theatrical production by the Drama Club in Prague.

Leonard is a couch potato statistician who in his spare time writes railway station novels, with the secret hope of one day being published. After sending a good number of manuscripts that remained unanswered, luck finally smiles on him. His novel is selected by a publishing house. But having signed it with a female pseudonym to satisfy the imperative criteria of the competition, this luck quickly turns into a nightmare.

She is not very brilliant, Eponine's career ... But what, there is not only the theater in life! Good year bad year, rouspous and vehement, she manages to find a good life, surrounded by her sister, of her mother, her dog and her doves ... And above all, in the middle of her wonderful piece of garden which she cares for with love ... Originally it was a play written by Maria Pacôme, premiered on September 25, 1981 at the Comédie des Champs Elysées (directed by Gérard Vergez). This piece was specially recorded (without audience) for television in March 1984, at the Buttes-Chaumont and broadcast on Antenne 2.
