A younger sister is left alone when her older sister steps out for a while. She tries to pass the time in her room, playing to chase away boredom. But as evening turns to night and her sister fails to return, loneliness gives way to unease. The house grows eerily silent, until something terrifying finally unfolds.

High school student Azusa jumps off from the rooftop of a school building, but she survives. One month later, the school is taken over by group of people wearing bizarre masks. A pregnant teacher is imprisoned, while the head director of the school and male students disappear. Azusa then finds pieces of a puzzle in an envelope given to her by classmate Shigeo. The puzzle pieces holds the key to solve the case. Azusa chases after Shigeo and she sees something which is unimaginable.

A group of drug-influenced lumpen teenagers from the suburbs of the city descends into the center where they do not belong, where they are excluded. They adopted a brutal method to seize rights that were not granted to them. Unaware of what will happen to them, cheerful and well-to-do university students are helpless in the face of this gun-wielding mob that suddenly raids the bar where they are having fun.

Four college friends take a fateful road trip. The road, Hell's Highway--a direct route to terror. They pick up Lucinda: A hot young hitchiker, full of sexual deviance and lust for the bloody kill. After being terrorized and nearly killed, the group manages to turn the tables. They thought they killed her, but around the next ben--around every ben-- she appears like a mirage ready to murder again. Is she the devil? Can anyone stop her killing spree?

North America, in the near future. Two married couples and a son live in a strange apartment that is actually a fallout shelter. The world has been devastated by a nuclear war, and the group waits impatiently for the radioactivity to disappear, growing more and more antagonistic towards each other in the interim.
