A Florentine legend tells the story of a blunt and arrogant blacksmith who enlists with the Crusaders in an attempt to rekindle the love his wife once had for him. After seizing Jerusalem, he lights up a candle in the tomb of Christ and bets to a Minstrel that he can carry it to Florence, all by himself. On his way home, he runs into a series of characters that help him to reflect upon the meaning behind the sacred flame and change his life for good.

The film written and directed by Maja Pavlin takes us through Magnifico’s rich, diverse and successful career – from late 1980s, when he began his path in music as member of the band U’REDU, through his solo career marked by numerous hits, such as 24.000 bacci, Kdo je Čefur, Halo gospodična, Silvija, and many others, all the way to his contract with the multinational Sony, his global success with Hir Aj Kam Hir Aj Go, and his focus on music for film.

In this unique documentary, French filmmaker Benoit Jacquot interviews Alfred Deller, the internationally celebrated contemporary countertenor who focused his talent on showcasing Renaissance and Baroque music to modern audiences. One of the few films on Deller, it includes footage of him performing selections from Campion, Rosseter, Morley and Purcell. Deller toured the globe with his group, the Deller Consort, from the 1950s through the '70s.

The Concert for Bangladesh was a pair of benefit concerts organised by former Beatles guitarist George Harrison and Indian sitar player Ravi Shankar. The shows were held at 2:30 and 8:00 pm on Sunday, 1 August 1971, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, to raise international awareness of, and fund relief for refugees from East Pakistan, following the Bangladesh Liberation War-related genocide.
