'Hard Twist' is a documentary about the life of the famous western photographer, Barbara Van Cleve. Barbara is a fifth-generation Montanan with a century of family history going back to the early 1900s, when her family settled in the Crazy Mountain area. Upon their arrival in Montana, the Van Cleves began operating a dude ranch, where Barbara grew up and spent most of her summers as an adult. Barbara's story offers insight into a hardy western ranching lifestyle many have not experienced, with striking archive footage of early Montana. This film is not only about Barbara's life, but tells a story of how her family history was intertwined with the changing landscape of the West.

Armed with her cameras and iPhone, Tanja traveled throughout the U.S. and around the world for 5 years, meticulously documenting her experiences in real time and creating a historical narrative, both visual and written, along the way. Her project is an exploration of friendships, the effects of social networks, the intimate places we call home and the communities in which we live.
Ashes and Snow, a film by Gregory Colbert, uses both still and movie cameras to explore extraordinary interactions between humans and animals. The 60-minute feature is a poetic narrative rather than a documentary. It aims to lift the natural and artificial barriers between humans and other species, dissolving the distance that exists between them.
