Arn has served his term in the Holy land and returns home to be reunited with his beloved Cecilia. When he returns home, he discovers that political forces tries to separate him and Cecilia - but thanks to queen Blanka they can finally get married. Arn knows that war is looming and with his martial knowledge he starts to build an army at his new home at Forsvik.

Shamsher Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) is a pure-hearted, selfless and God-fearing man. The only sad part in his life is that he is childless. One day, while returning from a pilgrimage, he and his wife, Bansa (Tanuja), find an abandoned child. They decide to bring up the child and name him Gurdit. Later, the couple has a child of their own. Both siblings grow to manhood, loyal to each other until a woman drives a wedge between them.
Gurmeet Kaur is a kind-hearted, compassionate and devout Sikh woman who lives with her widowed father, and teaches children in a make-shift outdoor school. Her life changes drastically when two men abduct her and take her to the hideout of the region's most feared bandit, Sardar Bakhel Singh. The movie deals with the trials and tribulations of multiple disconnected characters trying to find meaning in the spiritual and super natural experiences they have. The intertwining story threads include a baker (Kunchako) going to meet his pregnant wife (Bhama), a moneylender (Manoj K Jayan) with an imaginary friend (Saiju Kurup), an atheist policeman (Kalabhavan Mani) who is unfaithful to his wife, an old man (Janardhanan) whose daughter (Anju Aravind) gets into a road accident, a photographer (Joy Mathew) and a college girl (Sarayu) trying to prank her room mates.
