Quirky and rebellious April Burns lives with her boyfriend in a low-rent New York City apartment miles away from her emotionally distant family. While her father struggles to drive her family into the city, April -- an inexperienced cook -- runs into kitchen trouble and must ask a neighbor for help.

The mayor of the small Bavarian village of Hirnkirchen runs a poorly performing inn with his two good-looking and very busy daughters. When advertising experts Bob and Bert Vogel arrive in the village, they promise the mayor that they will replace the dusty regulars with wealthy visitors from all over Germany. What follows is a turbulent vacation season which, thanks to the inn's attractive daughters, involves a lot of physical activity.

Rashid, a modest meter reader, is smitten with Amina, a gentle and beautiful woman. Visiting her home daily under the pretense of reading the electricity meter, he uses every encounter to charm her. Though she initially resists, Amina gradually falls for his endearing persistence, sparking a warm and playful romance.

Businessman Telis Birkas (Periklis Hristoforidis) decides to marry his daughter Antzela (Sasa Kastoura) with a nice guy, his accountant Dinos (Dinos Iliopoulos). Antzela though does not want to hear a word about it. Telis, decides to train Dinos in order for him to win his daughter's heart. Training does not go so well and so the call in the big guns.
