Julian is perfectly happy in his relationship with the pretty blond Clare. That is, until he meets Anna, a dark-haired, bikini-clad beauty who he encounters while he is house-sitting. After a relaxing anniversary cruise, Andrea and his wife Barbara are dropped off in Istanbul, Turkey. There, they meet Andrea’s reserved assistant Silvia and his Turkish colleague Omar, who hasn’t been back to his home country in fifteen years. Andrea’s secretary has arranged a luxurious seafront villa for them to stay in while they’re in the country. Upon arriving at the villa, Omar experiences an unsettling feeling of déjà vu, as though he has been in the house before, while the married couple can’t stop bickering. However, the vacation soon turns into a nightmare when mysterious and deadly events begin to unfold.

Dr. Orlof, a former prison doctor, abducts beautiful women from nightclubs to use their skin to repair his daughter's fire-scarred face. He is assisted by Morpho, a deformed monstrosity who delights in biting his victims. Orlof had better hurry, though -- a young police inspector and his ballerina girlfriend are onto his sadistic practices.

Ancient literature has referred to the sound of hell as "the wailing and gnashing of teeth." Many people believe that may be the explanation behind a paranormal phenomenon that has been heard around the world. Camille Williams (Suziey Block) believes this haunting sound is responsible for the disappearance of her parents when she was a young girl. Now a grown woman, Camille sets out with her friend James (Clinton Roper Elledge) to hopefully find some answers.
