It’s a tough and lonely job. Drivers are often away from their families for weeks at a time chasing big money contracts along some of the world’s longest roads. The drivers all have highly specialized road skills and tough-as-nails mechanical bush knowhow. With their monster trailers in tow, they battle the most unforgiving terrain and weather conditions imaginable - to deliver food, cattle and construction supplies to those who need it the most. And they have to do it before the wet season hits and the roads get shut down.
In the high-stakes world of motorsports, nothing is more intense than competitive go-karting. The parents of young racers know that if anyone can get their kid to the top, it's Troy Adams of the legendary Adams Motorsports Park, which is one of the first African American-owned tracks in the country.
