In 1945, during the final months of the Second World War, a group of soldiers perform for the Royal Artillery concert party, with comic acts and musical numbers for others prior to their departure for the frontlines. The party avoids partaking in combat duty; thus, the soldiers love being part of the outfit. Some even daydream of becoming world-famous actors when they leave the army.
Twenty-Nine years ago, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 5, Jinkx Monsoon, gave birth to a homosexual son (best friends in real life). This spin-off series of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula stars monster drag artists from the show's previous seasons returning to the competition for a chance to win a $100,000 grand prize and the title of Queen of the Underworld. Each week the returning drag monsters must compete in makeup, costume creation, and performance based challenges to prove that they are the best of the best, while the weakest among them must face terrifying physical feats or risk elimination until only the true Titan of Dragula remains.
Portlandia meets The Kids in the Hall in this strange and brilliant sketch comedy series, Sketchy Queens created by two-time RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon and her comedy partner Liam Krug. After meeting in their hometown of Portland, Oregon, Jinkx & Liam quickly found they shared a twisted sense of humor and started writing sketches together in quarantine. This 8-episode series is born out of their weirdest ideas, featuring celebrity impersonations, a revival of Jinkx's first Snatch Game character Little Edie, and hilarious (and humiliating) new material from this duo’s wacky minds. Filmed in Portland and Los Angeles, the series includes celebrity guests like Trixie Mattel, Brittany Broski and Brandon Rogers.
