All Along the Watchtower is a British sitcom that aired on BBC One in 1999 about an RAF base in Scotland. It was written by Pete Sinclair and Trevelyan Evans.

Flight Lieutenant Harrison drove from HQ down or up to the hard to find Auchnacluchnie to recommenced the local Base be closed. Harrison and driver read signs. No petrol for 60 mile and No sweets for 32 miles. In the Ready room Airmen Tench reports to Wing-Commander Campbell-Stokes of an incoming missel 8 miles out. The 8 miles out missel happens to be Harrison 8 feet out. After introduction Tench informed the other 2 he armed the guided missal. In the end Flight Lieutenant Harrison switched off the armed missel. Wing Commander tells Harrison they are down 2 . Harrison thinks and says 200 on the base. Its only 2 Stokes and Tench. Harrison tells Stokes the cold war is over. Stokes believes once red always red. Wing Commander takes Harrison to the village pub called Guthrie's Hotel run by Iain Guthrie. Harrison decides to bet that the monthly total will be highest ever because he is fixing the numbers. Then he can win $10,000 in the contest. Now that Nuclear Command Bunker no. K553/44FS has a new siren alarm ordered by Flight Lieutenant Harrison. Will the fact North Korean made alarm make the Wing-Commander happy? To atract costumers Iain Guthrie puts fake egg nest of an abadon osprey bird nest. The customers come to see the nests. They even spend the night. At the bace Harrison goes on vacation an asppry bird has nested in one of the radar dishes. Airman Tench is commanded to get rid of the radar dish opstruction. Wing-Commander finds spy claiming to be a bird watcher. The spy ends up to be only a bird watcher. She tells Stokes that they must protect the nest. Later Tench is to guard the nest and protect it even from kittens. Tench shoot and misses the kitten scarring the bird away. Next day The bird watchers goes nuts when they find asppry bird at the nest surprizing Iain.

Teachers Only is an NBC television sitcom centered around the faculty of a high school; in the first season the school was Millard Fillmore High in Los Angeles, but in the second it is Woodrow Wilson High in New York with a changed cast. In both seasons Norman Fell played Principal Ben Cooper, but Lynn Redgrave's character, Diana Swanson, who had been an English teacher in the first season, became a guidance counselor in the second season. Redgrave and Fell were already established names when this show aired, but two of the supporting stars in the second season, Jean Smart would go on, three years later, to play her best known role, that of interior design studio receptionist Charlene Frazier Stillfield on the long running show, Designing Women. Also, Jean's co-star Teresa Ganzel became well known for her many game show appearances in the 1980s as well as her appearance in the comedic miniseries, Fresno. This show ran for only two seasons, in 1982 and 1983.

Second thoughts is a British sitcom that ran from 3 May 1991 to 14 October 1994. It was broadcast on ITV and made by LWT. It was followed by a sequel, Faith in the future. Second thoughts followed the lives of two middle-aged divorcees, Bill MacGregor and Faith Greyshott, from very different backgrounds trying to develop a relationship, despite the pressures pulling it apart. Second thoughts was based upon the real-life relationship of the writers, husband and wife Jan Etherington and Gavin Petrie. It originally aired as a radio series on BBC Radio 4 broadcast between 1 November 1988 and 23 July 1992. The radio series consisted of four series and a Christmas special broadcast in 1992 with a total of 31 episodes. The radio scripts were used for the television series on ITV. The fifth series was considered weaker than the first four series; it was the only series not to be based on the original radio scripts. Second thoughts ended on 14 October 1994, but has since been repeated on ITV3. The original radio series is often replayed on BBC7.
