MTV's The 70s House is an American reality television show created by Aaron Matthew Lee. The show premiered on MTV on July 5 and ended September 6, 2005. The show featured twelve contestants who thought they were participating in a The Real World-type reality show, but instead…
The 12 contestants arrive at their new pad thinking that they are going to be on a Real World-type reality show only to be duped as they are greeted by host Dawn and shown the shag carpeted splendor that is The ‘70s House. Right away the contestants must learn the groovy new ‘70s slang as they unload all of their modern loot, from iPods and cell phones, to makeup and beauty products. Just like in “Charlie’s Angels”, Oscar communicates their missions to the contestants via a small black box on a desk. First challenge is a basketball tournament complete with mini-shorts! How long can they last? Who will be the first to be sent home?
The remaining contestants are split into male and female teams and must each develop a group disco dance performance in a club playing music from the 2000's. They real judging isnt until they see Oscar
Once again, Oscar throws in a gnarly challenge. The housemates are playing against a team of 5 mondo-muscular wrestlers from the WWE: Hardcore Holly, Mark Jindrak and Charlie Haas from "Smackdown; Maven from "Raw;" and Booker T from "WCW." Feeling a bit small next to these macho superstars, Andrew dubs himself "The Pebble." Because they're obviously not going to win, their goal is simply to stay on the court for the longest time.
The remaining contestants compete in a disco-style Car Wash where the cast must all wash cars while dancing to 70's music. The first one from either team to quit dancing would lose the challenge for their team and go into the elimination round.
The gang is a little uncomfortable and not to mention bored, after living in the 70's for a while. Soon, Dawn seperates the crew into two teams (red blue), to play a game of matchmaker while being on a gorgeous yacht. The gang is then invited to a Tiki-themed campfire, to then realize two guys are given the green-light to the elimination round by doing some Tiki limbo. Either get low, or get lost.
Mr. & Miss Red White & Blue beauty pageant
The '70s gang awakens to a 'hustle dance' by Oscar. Randy, their slick neighbor drops by to give the gang a pop quiz. After, Dawn splits the gang up into two teams to compete at the mall for a little jazzersize / hustle game to see which team can get the most civilians dancing before the clock runs out. Ashley is sent to the elimanation round for not doing the hustle in the early-hours of the morning. Corey is also sent to the elimination round for getting the lowest score on the pop-quiz. Both are competing in a 'Roller-Boogie' contest, to find out which one will boogie-on back to the future.
The cast competes in a '70s-style singing contest in front of a crowd of shoppers. The group has just a liitle bit of time to write lyrics to a song for the group to sing. Each member must also sing a solo within the song. The audience will vote for the best singer by each dropping a dollar into their favorite singer's hat. The singer with the most money will avoid the elimination round.
The cast compete in a 70's style tiger beat pin up magazine challenge, where they will take pictures for the front cover of a magazine. After they take the pictures they will then be judged in front of a large high school audience.
Andew and Joey compete in different series of games. Every game is a different year. The outcome was that Andrew wins.

A family of six and their home are stripped of all their modern technology to live a life of decades past. In each episode, the family lives through a given decade at a rate of a year per day. Ten celebrities are about to leave their 21st century lives and everything they know behind to become time travellers. Our ten intrepid travellers will crash into six very different eras of British history and have no idea where – or when – they're going. They will spend a day immersed in each era, living, working, dressing and eating as the ‘lower' classes did whilst attempting to follow orders and fulfil a task set by their superiors. Will they be able to survive history and will they be able to leave their smartphones behind?
An Edwardian Country House in Scotland is to be brought back to life. One family will take on the mantle of privilege and 12 individuals the yoke of service. For the next three months they've volunteered to immerse themselves in a world of social inequality and rigid class distinctions as they move through time from 1905 to 1914. Everything is quintessentially British: a magnificent house and boating lake, model dairy and tea room, croquet and tennis in the garden, a stable full of horses and carriages - and a group of people utterly divided and ruled by class.

It is the second entry of producer Jamie Brown's "Quest series", which includes Pioneer Quest: A Year in the Real West, Klondike: The Quest for Gold, and Quest for the Sea. Frank and Alana Logie, a couple who had previously participated in Pioneer Quest, made a cameo appearance during the first episode. It was the highest-rated program on History Television in 2002 and received favourable reviews from newspapers -- most notably, the Edmonton Journal. RoseAnna Schick, the sole female crew member, wrote a personal account of the journey for Manitoba History later that year. The five-part series was produced by Winnipeg-based Frantic Films and was filmed during the summer of 2001. It followed an eight-person volunteer team as they attempted to recreate the journey made by fur traders of the Hudson's Bay Company during the 1840s by travelling from Winnipeg to Hudson Bay. The trip covered a distance of 800 miles and took the team though the heart of the Canadian wilderness. The crew members possessed only equipment used during the period, down to their food and clothing, and included a replica of a 40-foot wooden York Boat.
