Tapsa Mäkilä quits his job as a private detective and starts running a dilapidated inn with his spouse Anna.

Tapsa has promised Anna to leave her detective work for the duration of the holiday. However, he tries to find out the fate of a missing drug dealer without his wife noticing.
Tapsa and Anna get their long-awaited first guest, who turns out to be a trickier case. A retired guest also recognizes Ruben and his secret is about to be revealed.
Anna is thrilled when Maiccu, a well-known social media influencer, is coming to stay at Inn Outolempi. The whole place needs to be made trendier! Kurre hopes to get Maiccu's autograph.
Tapsa calls a ghost buster to prove that the Inn is haunted. But Ruben doesn't want anyone to know he's a ghost...
Anna is convinced that Tapsa is attracted to a mysterious woman living in the inn. Tapsa himself claims he is spying on her because he suspects she is a criminal. Could it be both?
Händi and Käppers appear in the middle of the night at the Inn Outolempi. The musicians have debts to pay, their blood sugar is low and their trigger fingers are itchy.
A water damage forces Anna to call her father at the inn so she can ask him for a loan. Her father would be a handful for Tapsa, but he brings along a new girlfriend who is too much for Anna too.
