One of the anime projects to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Precure franchise, this sequel will show Nozomi Yumehara and other characters from Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! and Precure Splash Star as grown-ups.

In middle school, Nozomi Yumehara met the fairy Coco and transformed into a Precure. While battling enemies with her friends, she discovered her dream for her future. Much later, after Nozomi has grown into an adult, she meets up with her friend from childhood Rin Natsuki like she always does, but…

Now that the six Precures have become adults, they each walk their own paths in life. And though things appear to be smooth sailing for all of them, they each have their troubles. A few days after their miraculous reunion, eerie dark figures called Shadows appear in the city.

Nozomi suddenly changed into her middle-school self and transformed into a Precure, then fought off the Shadows. Even though disaster was avoided, the purpose of the Shadows and why Nozomi was able to transform into a Precure again remain shrouded in mystery. Meanwhile, Karen, who became a doctor, has been facing her own troubles recently.

Saki Hyuga, who works at her family’s bakery, runs into Mai Mishou, who became a graphic designer. They spend a merry evening with Nozomi and the others, who are overjoyed that they have all gotten back together again. However, Saki never gets the chance to find out from Mai what has been bothering her. So, a few days later, Saki gets Mai to help her out with the bakery’s bread truck.

Kurumi informs Coco and Natts in Palmier Kingdom about the Shadows. When Natts learns that another of the sinister Time Flowers has bloomed in Cure Rose Garden, he heads to the town where Nozomi and the others live.

Rin, a jewelry designer, has not performed well at the in-house competitions at her company recently. One day, after she overslept on the morning of an important presentation, Rin catches sight of a dog-shaped Shadow as she rushes to work. She is torn over what to do, but ultimately decides to continue to her office.

Urara, who is preparing for a musical by the famous stage director Mariko Takigawa, is unable to give Mariko what she wants, and is told to take a week off from rehearsals. Depressed by the thought that she will be replaced, she is suddenly visited by Syrup.

Realizing that the Shadows have only appeared in her town and the surrounding area, Komachi hypothesizes that this isn’t the first time that these Shadow incidents have occurred. She goes with Nozomi and Coco to speak with someone well-versed in the town’s history.

Ever since the Dark Night Light video, business at PANPAKA Pan has been booming. Seeing how well Saki has been working at the shop, her parents consider letting her take over the business. Even Saki’s fiancé supports her taking over the family business. However, Mai alone notices something isn’t right with Saki.

Nozomi suddenly fainted and collapsed. Natts told Coco that the cause was most likely because she transformed into a Precure, and if Nozomi and the others keep transforming, their lives could be in danger. So Coco warns Nozomi against ever transforming again.

Bell’s description of a not-so-distant future where humans cause the destruction of the town is terribly shocking. Because Bell knows what the future holds, she produced the Shadows to stop what humans are doing and save the town.

Cure Black and Cure White as well as Shiny Luminous show up to help Cure Dream and the other Precures. The 11 of them work together to oppose the gigantic Shadow.
