Mickey Grosman, a former special forces demolitions expert took a group of amateur adventurers on a nearly impossible journey across South America. Positioned as a charity trek for cancer awareness, participants were to be part of a 5,000-mile expedition across the continent…

Self-styled survivalist and demolition expert Mickey Grosman leads a team of amateur explorers deep into the Amazon on a chaotic, death-defying quest to cross the South American continent - it'll be a miracle if anyone makes it out alive.

Mickey dismisses a veteran teammate, then hires a local escort for a hazardous desert trek. Running out of water after getting disoriented, the group descends into chaos, risking one member's life.

Ickey's film crew embarks on a treacherous journey through the Eastern Andes. A risky bridge crossing precedes their venture deeper into the mountains, where one team member mysteriously vanishes after being sent back.

Mickey loses control of the expedition when an indigenous tribe kidnaps them. He replaces Delfin with an inexperienced woman who accuses him of having a God complex. The team stumbles onto a bizarre subculture, eager to prove her correct.

A near-deadly case of dengue fever almost stops Mickey before he's arrested at gunpoint and imprisoned in Brazil. Missing footage leads to questions about his escape and the expedition's end. Did covert operatives help Mickey to finish it?

Myths die hard, and the history of the 20th century is no exception to this rule. Even today, we hold popular beliefs that we take for Evangelical truths. Thus, we believe that Hiroshima caused Japan to surrender, that the Marshall Plan saved Europe, that Adolf Hitler was a military genius, or that Mao Zedong was a necessary evil for China’s modernization. Of course, these judgements contain some truth; but, too broad-stroked to be accurate, they contradict the historical reality by denying its complexity. What if the truth was slightly different? Through an exploration of great national or international myths, this full archive documentary collection revisits the key moments of the 20th century with a new perspective in order to provide a new, smarter and more subtle interpretation, bringing elements to light that have been forgotten or sometimes overshadowed.

Examines the dawn of the comic book genre and its powerful legacy, as well as the evolution of the characters who leapt from the pages over the last 75 years and their ongoing worldwide cultural impact. It chronicles how these disposable diversions were subject to intense government scrutiny for their influence on American children and how they were created in large part by the children of immigrants whose fierce loyalty to a new homeland laid the foundation for a multi-billion-dollar industry that is an influential part of our national identity.

The Earth’s continents are instantly recognizable. These iconic landmasses seem permanent and unchanging, yet they are merely the wreckage of a much larger long-lost supercontinent – Pangaea. In this stunning four part series Professor Iain Stewart uncovers the evidence for this ancient past. He reveals how the world around us is full of clues – in the rocks, the landscapes and even the animals. All of which tell us how the land we live on was created.

Few countries in South America can boast to have such contrast and variety as Argentina. Diverse habitats such as Patagonia's bleak steppe, soaring Andean snowcaps, vast salt pans, lush rainforest around Iguazu Falls, steamy marshlands of Ibera, and grasslands of the Pampas support an astonishing range of wildlife - from penguins, whales and seals to condors, armadillos and guanacos.
