Rote Rosen is a German telenovela produced by Studio Hamburg Serienwerft Lüneburg and broadcast by Das Erste since November 6, 2006. The show is a complex telenovela, who tells one love story every season about women in their forties.


Petra organizes a surprise party for her husband Thomas on his 50th birthday. Daughter Tanja says she's pregnant. Petra meets unexpectedly her ex Nick. Petra is shocked when she sees Thomas kissing Tanja's best friend Miriam.

Thomas asserts Petra that the kiss with Miriam means nothing but she still worries. She finds Nick very charming. Johanna gives Tanja an expensive ring for giving her a grandchild. Carmen seduces Hacki.

Thomas and Petra learn to know Nick's wife Lynn. Miriam urges Thomas to confess Petra their affair. Hacki doesn't tell Jule who his new affair is.

The affair between Thomas and Miriam is public now. Petra and Tanja don't take it easy. Miriam hears the quarrel between Thomas and Petra. Hacki abuses Carmen's stupidity for Jule's protest demonstration.

Miriam stays the night with Thomas and gets a quarrel with Tanja. Uli fetches Jule and Hacki. Carmen is angry with Hacki who now blames himself. Alice brings Petra from the hotel back home.

Thomas moves to Miriam. Hacki discovers that Jule's word for him backfires. Petra and Johanna find Nick at an antique merchant in the country. Miriam discovers Thomas' lies and sends him away. Is Uli's chair ugly?

Nick is annoyed to hear that Thomas talked with Lynn about him and Petra. Can Hacki get tickets? Tanja doesn't want her son to be named after her father. Miriam uses her job offer in the Caribbean to put pressure on Thomas. Is she pregnant?

Miriam wants an abortion. Jonas discovers that she is pregnant. Hacki dates Carmen. Thomas suspects Petra of an affair with Nick. Pregnant Tanja has to go to the hospital. Lynn suspects Nick of deceit when he accompanies Tanja.

Tanja has lost her baby. Thomas stays the night at home but will he reconcile with Petra? Werner's son Marc sees that Hacki accidentally makes a scratch on the bike that Werner bought Marc.

Miriam threatens with an abortion to get Thomas. Nick brings drunken Thomas home. Tanja thinks that Uwe lets her down. Matthias thinks Werner is Alice's husband and he beats him in the face. Carmen learns to know Marc.

Thomas tells Angela he moves with Miriam in a new house. Tanja and Uwe cope with the loss of their child; the ceiling comes down. Lynn dislikes the behavior of the hotel director. Jule visits Marc who does a juridical study.

Lynn moves to another hotel. Expensive water damage in the Rosenhaus but the insurance refuses to pay. Petra and Miriam quarrel about Thomas' money. Werner invites Alice to a dinner in his home.

Lynn surprises her husband Nick with a bicycle tour; do they get lost? Marc helps Alice in the flower shop. Nick cancels his order because Thomas disrespects Petra. Miriam and Thomas look forward to their baby. Thomas needs money.

It is a remake of Mi Segunda Madre, produced by Juan Osorio. in 1990 Canal de las Estrellas will broadcast Mi Segunda Madre after Corazón Indomable concludes in late-September 2013. On June 24, 2013, it was confirmed that Susana González and Guy Ecker will star as the protagonists. Dominika Paleta and Héctor Suárez Gomís will star as the antagonists.

Libre para amarte is a Mexican telenovela produced by Emilio Larrosa for Televisa. It is based on Colombian telenovela Los canarios. Gabriel Soto, Eduardo Santamarina star as the protagonists, with the stellar performance of the singer and actress Gloria Trevi for first occasion in a soup opera as Aurora Valencia, while Harry Geithner, Jacqueline Andere and Luz Elena González star as the antagonists.
