Alan Breck Stewart, hero of Culloden returns in secret to Scotland. Meanwhile David Balfour returns to Edinburgh, meets a beautiful Highland girl, and encouters his suspicious Uncle Ebenezer
Still pursuing separate goals, Alan Breck hears fresh rumours of rebellion in the Highlands and David Balfour learns first hand how villainous his uncle really is.
While Alan Breck surveys the Stewart holdings, David Balfour accompanies his uncle to see his lawyer, accepting the offer of passage there from a ship's captain. But Uncle Ebenezer has other plans for David and has arranged for a longer voyage for his nephew.
Kidnapped aboard a slave ship bound for the Carolinas on the orders of his Uncle Ebenezer, David encounters Alan, shipwrecked and rescued at night, and discovers the captain's evil plot against them.
With the slave ship run aground, Alan and David must make their way across the Highlands. When the latter meets King's Factor Colin "Red Fox" Campbell and witnesses a bloody crime, he must flee for his life from the Redcoat forces.

Tokyo Friends is a Japanese television drama released on June 3, 2005. Unlike many other dramas, it was never aired on TV but released as a set of 3 DVDs. Volumes one and two contain the first 4 episodes while volume three contains the last episode. Each episode is approximately 70 minutes. The Tokyo Friends Premium Box was also released which includes all 5 episodes, a bonus DVD, and 12 postcards. Although this is a very typical Tokyo-story and was never aired on TV, it was quite successful probably because it was Ai Otsuka's debut as an actress.

Astitva - Ek Prem Kahani was a Hindi-language soap opera that aired on Zee TV channel for about four years. The story focuses on the concept of women's identity through the character of Dr. Simran, who embodies patience, consistency and suppression in a subtle way. Yuichi Yamada doesn't speak French and ask for help from nearby tobacco shop owner Yoriko Shindo. Yoriko Shindo speaks French fluently and she is able to help the couple. Meanwhile, Yuichi Yamada takes an interest in Yoriko Shindo.
