The Sun Shines Different in Miami is an ambient film series drifting through beach, bike, boat, and park journeys. Each episode explores a different path to restoration, blending slow visuals and calming soundscapes to invite healing.

Introspection. A calming 6-mile ride from South Pointe through South Beach and over the MacArthur Causeway. With natural sounds and golden light, this journey turns inward, reflecting gently as the world drifts by.

Healing. A meditative voyage off Miami's coast. This seaborne journey drifts through sunlit water and skyline, inviting stillness and a slow return to presence through rhythm, breath, and a gently layered mantra.

Transformation. A slow walk through Margaret Pace Park, where palms sway and sunlight shifts along quiet trails. This green space becomes a sanctuary of change, inviting breath, renewal, and a deeper connection to the self.

In 2008, 19-year-old Liu Wenjing leaves her mountain village for Shanghai to pursue a better life. Faced with financial hardship, family illness, and personal setbacks, she navigates love, loss, and betrayal. With the support of her friends, she finds the strength to start over and chase a new beginning.

Ronja is the only daughter of Mattis, a bandit leader who lives in a castle in the middle of a large forest. When Ronja grows old enough, she ventures into the forest to interact the strange and magical creatures that live there. She learns to live in the forest through her own strength, with the occasional rescue from her parents. Ronja's life begins to change, however, when she happens upon a boy her own age named Birk.
