The adage"if looks could kill" takes on entirely unique meaning in the series, which grants People's journalists exclusive access beyond the catwalk to reveal that fashion can sometimes be fatal. The hourlong tales of depravity, obsession, and family betrayal in the fashion world all have a common thread -- cold-blooded murder.
Armed with only a photograph of the victim, and with no prior knowledge of the case, gifted psychic mediums from New Zealand and Australia attempt to communicate with the spirit of the victim to uncover details of their life and death. A team of investigators follow up the psychics' leads - with startling results.

In the ruggedness of the American West, death is always a shadow over the shoulder: a grizzly bear encounter, an avalanche, or a bite from a rattlesnake can change everything in an instant; and those are just the natural threats. If one wants to get away with murder, the mountain ranges of the West may be the perfect place to do it. Peering into the dusty files found in the back country sheriff's offices and highlighting the cases that were deemed unsolvable because the crime scene was too rugged, too remote, or the victim assumed too hard to find; despite the odds in this landscape, justice prevails.
