Drama / Mystery
When a comic becomes the inspiration for a killer, the author is forced to work with a detective to try and uncover the truth.
A mysterious murder case inspired by the underground manga Nekros draws Kay, a famous manga writer who hides wounds from his past, into an investigation led by Phat, a young police officer determined to uphold justice.
The story intensifies when Phat, the police officer in charge of the case, decides to meet with Kay and question him about his possible connection to the author of the manga Nekros. The question makes Kay hesitate and deny the connection with visible concern. This makes Phat even more suspicious, so he joins forces with Nop to closely monitor Kay's behavior and gather additional evidence. After the investigation team uncovers information pointing toward Kay, Phat takes decisive action and begins following Kay around the clock in an effort to uncover the truth and determine whether Kay is really the person behind the mysterious manga.
The tension surrounding the Nekros case reaches its breaking point, and Phat loses control of his emotions and harshly reprimands Kay under the pressure. Phat's words hurt Kay, but Phat does not want him to feel upset and wants to prove that his intentions are sincere. He therefore makes an important offer by officially inviting Kay to join the Nekros investigation team as a special consultant. Together, they join forces to follow the clues and bring the real killer to justice. How will Kay and Phat overcome their emotional crisis and solve this murder case?
After Kay takes on the role of special consultant for the Nekros investigation team, he uses his sketching skills to draw an important clue in the kidnapping case involving Congressman Charatphong, offering his help to Phat's team. Kay's accuracy further convinces Phat that he will be a crucial asset in solving the case. The mystery begins to move closer to the truth when Phat uncovers new information while pursuing Kim, a suspect in Congressman Charatphong's kidnapping, leading to a breakthrough in the Nekros case. How will this case end?
After the police announce the arrest of Kim, the suspect accused of being a serial killer who staged his murders to imitate the manga Nekros, and officially declare the case closed, it seems that everything is finally over. But the truth is far from it. Than remains unconvinced and refuses to let the matter go, digging into Phat's past and causing him considerable distress. Meanwhile, Kay is deeply touched that Phat risked his life to save him, even getting injured in the process. But what is the secret from Phat's past that he has been trying to hide? And what will happen to their relationship?
When Praew obtains an important clue about the serial killer case, along with information about additional victims, she decides to team up with Prim and personally visit the area to conduct a preliminary investigation. Kay becomes extremely worried and tries to contact Praew through every possible means. Phat is equally anxious, feeling guilty for having played a part in getting Praew involved in this dangerous situation. The two men then join forces to urgently search for Praew and Prim. However, while investigating for further clues, certain events and details of the case inevitably raise doubts between Kay and Phat. How will this growing suspicion affect their relationship? Join them as they face this thrilling and intense situation.
After Kay hears some information about Asura from Than, he becomes even more confused and begins to question whether he is truly innocent or actually a murderer. With no clear answers in sight, Phat continues to believe in him and tries to bring him back to his senses, determined to stand by Kay as they search for the truth. Could there actually be more than one murderer hiding behind this mysterious series of killings? Join them as they uncover the answer.
The story reaches a critical point when Kay becomes the prime suspect in the serial killings and a shoot-to-kill order is issued, forcing him to flee for his life. In the midst of this extreme situation, Phat is the only person who never stops believing in Kay. Phat does everything he can to investigate the clues and gather evidence to prove that Kay is innocent, while continuing to help him during his escape. The two must work together to turn the tables, buy time while being pursued by the authorities, and find the real killer before it is too late. Join them as they search for the truth.
Nop's death has a devastating impact, leaving Phat deeply heartbroken. Kay becomes even more afraid that Phat could become the next target and the next victim. Meanwhile, Praew is watching over Prim, who remains in critical condition, and vents her anger and despair in front of Phat and Kay when they come to visit her. She believes that the legal system is incapable of truly bringing criminals to justice. Praew's unwavering determination begins to worry Phat, who fears that her convictions could put both her and Kay in danger. At the same time, Than delivers a cryptic warning that leaves them thinking: "Perhaps, at the end of the story, everything may lie at the beginning." Where will this mystery and thirst for revenge lead them? Stay tuned to find out.

Cold Squad is a Canadian police procedural television series first broadcast in 1998 that followed the investigations of a part of the Vancouver Police Department Homicide Division tasked with solving cold cases, the titular Cold Squad, as led by Sergeant Ali McCormick (Julie Stewart). The cast of Cold Squad was diverse and changing, McCormick being the only character to appear in all 7 seasons. Between the second and third seasons, almost the entire on-screen cast other than Julie Stewart were replaced. This along with the new sets, a significant revamp of the credits and theme music, and even having McCormick's hair change from auburn to dirty-blonde all contributed to a considerable reworking of the series.
