Artist Sir Grayson Perry visits Silicon Valley to explore how AI and robotics will shape the future, in a series that raises profound questions about what it is to be human.

His journey begins in the Bay Area where he is assisted by an increasingly chummy chatbot. He meets everyone from leading players in the industry to idealistic young start-up founders, as well as ordinary people who are adopting the latest innovations and alarmed critics of the direction AI is taking the world.

Grayson concludes his tour of Silicon Valley by considering the motivations of the men behind the technology, such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos - and how their values might be challenged. He meets a scientist working on empathetic robots which offer a more human-centric alternative to the priorities of the industry and encounters one of the key players in AI, Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark, grappling with the possibility that AI could be shaped in such a way to offer a more optimistic future.

The Russian army has no shortage of weapons despite sanctions: With an arsenal mixing old Soviet stocks and modern hypersonic weapons, the country could strike Europe in minutes. An opaque network of spies, shell companies and oligarchs ensures its war capacity through the arms trade, technology theft and state-organized policy of terror.

All In Earth's 4 billion year history, nature has solved all of lifes problems, from the highest mountain to the deepest ocean. Evolution is the ultimate inventor and many of mans most clever engineering solutions have exact counterparts in nature. In three amazing episodes, NatureTech views our world with fresh eyes, where nature and technology stand hand in hand.

Stephen Hawking’s Science of the Future investigates the very latest game changing innovations. Each episode takes one area of progress and sends five top scientists out to actively test the inventions and breakthroughs that are driving it. The team explore human upgrades, the virtual world, bio-mimicry, high-tech emergency responses, and more. Featuring a wide range of examples, from advanced robotics and breathtaking digital actors, to cutting edge smart homes and electronic brain stimulation, the series reveals how science is delivering astonishing improvements to all our lives. Using the evidence they gather, the team reveals the year when each innovation will be rolled out for us all to benefit from, and Hawking then draws out his own uniquely insightful predictions about what our world will be like in the years to come.
