The theatrical film that continues directly from Season 3 of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, split into four episodes for streaming and home media. After years of romantic mind games, the two geniuses of Shuchiin Academy's student council — Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane —…

In the aftermath of the culture festival, Kaguya spirals into panic over the kiss she gave Shirogane, convinced it went much further than a first kiss should. Sleep-deprived and overwhelmed, she regresses into a childlike state of pure feelings, while Shirogane anxiously tries to figure out where the two of them now stand.

To protect herself, Kaguya locks her emotions away entirely, and a cold, calculating version of her takes control. Shaken by how completely she has changed overnight, Shirogane refuses to let it go — confronting her, chasing her through the school, and finally telling her exactly what he thinks.

A lunchtime standoff over Shirogane's homemade bento pulls the two closer together than either of them planned, until Kaguya's boldness proves too much and Shirogane passes out cold. Sitting at his bedside, the competing sides of Kaguya's heart wage war over what she truly wants from him.

Christmas Eve arrives. After enjoying the Fujiwara family's chaotic brand of holiday hospitality, Kaguya and Shirogane head home together and end up side by side on a park bench — where two people who could never say what they mean finally have the honest conversation that defines their relationship.
