Live Through This is a teen drama broadcast on MTV during the 2000–2001 season, though cancelled after only 13 episodes due to poor ratings. The hour-long drama plot involved a fictional 1980s band entitled "The Jackson Decker Band" reuniting for one last comeback tour. Each episode featured original music written by Graham Nash and performed by Pat Benatar. It was the first hour-long drama series to be aired on MTV.

The series revolves around the life of Camilo and Juancho, two friends who work in the maestro Guzmán's orchestra, both share the dream of one day becoming the most recognized musicians in the tropical genre. In this long journey to fulfill their dream, they meet Daniela, a woman of good economic position who wants to be famous and live music as they do. Daniela will have to hide from her family that she is part of a musical orchestra, and Camilo and Juancho that she is from a family of high social class. But everything gets complicated when Camilo and Juancho fall in love with Daniela, that's when their friendship and dreams of being famous will be truncated by the love of a woman.

Misaki decides to join the Brass Band Club having heard of its prestigious past from her father, a former member. However, Misaki finds that much has changed and the club is now full of dull and inactive students. Misaki determines to do her best to return the club to its glory days, but she must help many of the students overcome their personal problems.
