The adventures of Pippi Longstocking, an eccentric, super-strong, redheaded moppet and her best friends Tommy and Annika.

Tommy and Annika are on their way home from school and, as usual, they walk past Villa Villekulla. As usual, they say “I wish someone would move in there, someone with children”. Then, they suddenly see someone moving in the house – a cute little monkey! And there is a spotted horse on the porch, and inside the house, someone is sleeping with her feet on the pillow. From that day, nothing is the same for Tommy and Annika.

Pippi is good at lots of things, such as finding useful things, but there are other things that she isn’t as good at, like going for coffee on her best behaviour.

Pippi grabs her suitcase, which is full of gold coins, and takes Tommy and Annika on a shopping spree in the small town. When the sly thieves Dunder-Karlsson and Blom hear that Pippi has a suitcase full of gold coins, they begin to wonder if it may be time for a visit to Villa Villekulla.

Pippi has made three nice kites, and she takes Tommy and Annika on a kite outing. Tommy and Annika have never been on such a fun outing.

Thunder-Karlsson and Bloom cannot contain themselves any longer, they have to have Pippi’s suitcase. Pippi holds a birthday party for Tommy, Annika, Mr Nilsson and her horse.

The funfair has come to town and Pippi is in her element. She handles the boa constrictors brilliantly, and the world’s strongest man has a day he will never forget...

One morning, the whole world is covered in snow and Pippi goes for a nice ride. Tommy and Annika are of course at school, because the Christmas holidays have not yet begun. Pippi also wants to have Christmas holidays!

It’s Christmas and Miss Prysselius cannot bear the thought of Pippi spending Christmas alone. So at the Christmas market, she sets the policemen, Kling and Klang, on Pippi to take her to the orphanage. But it isn’t easy to catch Pippi.

What is a snirkle? Not even Pippi knows, and she is the one that came up with the word. Together with Tommy and Annika, she goes into the little town to find a snirkle.

Did anyone know that Pippi’s father was also once a balloonist? That’s why his old hot air balloon is still in Pippi’s attic. Pippi goes on an unusual balloon trip with Tommy and Annika.

Miss Prysselius is supposed to look after Tommy and Annika while their parents are away. Pippi is invited there for dinner and Mr Nilsson helps to make the soup. What a soup! Then Pippi, Tommy and Annika set off for a deserted island to find out what it’s like to be shipwrecked.

Tommy and Annika get to go with Pippi on board Captain Longstocking’s ship. But Tommy and Annika are still not happy, because Pippi is about to leave them. But first she holds the most fantastic farewell party in the garden at Villa Villekulla.

Now Pippi is going to board the ‘Hoppetossa’ and leave Tommy and Annika. Pippi tries to console them, but it is simply not possible.
