Sam Soon is suspicious of her boyfriend cheating on her and sees him at a hotel with a woman on Christmas Eve.

Sam Soon starts working at Jin Heon's restaurant, and the staff at the restaurant throws her a welcome party.

Jin Heon asks Sam Soon to pretend they're dating and says it's because they'll never fall for each other.

A woman comes to the restaurant and smiles upon seeing Hee Jin's name tag because they have the same name.

Ko Gan was a very talented cake master. Because of his dedication to making cakes, he neglected his family which caused his wife and son to leave him. While he rushed to the airport to see his wife and son, Ko Gan got into a car accident and was caught by the police when he lied about the cake for his son being a bomb so he could get to the airport on time. Two years later, Ko Gan is released from jail and is once again in the cake business, being a chief chef at Gateaux, a cake shop owned by Sabayung. Ko Gan acts coldly and is strict on the shop's employees, plus having to face all sorts of hardship in new cake creations and competitions from cake masters from all over the world; not to mention meeting hotheaded girl, Tong Sheung, who has a passion for baking. From her, he learns new things as well as with her around Ko Gun turns into a gentler man. But something huge stands in their way that causes their relationship to waver... and it has something to do with Kuk Kei.

Ichika Usami is a second year middle school student whose family runs the Kirakira Patisserie shop. One day, she encounters a fairy named Pekorin and learns that evil monsters known as Henteko have been stealing "Kirakiraru", the energy that resides within sweets and desserts. Thus, Ichika becomes a Pretty Cure and, alongside four other cures, forms the Kirakira PreCure a la Mode to fight off the Henteko and protect the sweets.

The episodes from the anime Yumeiro Patissiere are based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Natsumi Matsumoto. The series is produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Ko Suzuki. The story is about 14 yr old Ichigo who dreams of becoming a pastry chef. She attends St. Marie Academy in hopes of following her grandmother's footsteps. Along the way, she meets boys, enemies, and sweets spirits.

Eight-year-old Miyuki lost her mother several years ago and has since lived with just her father, Ryoichi. One day, she is suddenly introduced to Akiko, who is to be her new mother. Akiko uses her stellar business skills to try to win the little girl over, only to fail miserably. Ryoichi tries to reason with Miyuki, but to no avail.
