Ellie ventures down one of the deepest gold mines in the world in search of the gleaming metal that was once thought to be the skin of the gods and the sweat of the sun. Dallas free-dives for lustrous pearls in the waters around north west Australia and, using one of the largest treasure hunting machines, he seeks out diamonds from the bottom of the ocean.
Dallas braves vicious currents to dive on a shipwreck where gold, silver and 5,000 emeralds have been found. Ellie tells the tale of intrigue and obsession surrounding a jewelled room in Russia decorated with millions of pounds worth of amber; and she enters the secretive world of the diamond cutters - each lives with the knowledge that a slip of the hand could cost them millions of pounds.

Shipwreck hunter Samuel Côté takes us to the depths of the St-Lawrence river, in search of buried and long-forgotten treasures. With his team of divers, Samuel tracks down shipwrecks that lie in the river’s abyss, seeking to bring their mysteries to light. The series immerses the viewer into Quebec’s maritime history, through tales of war, pirates, treasures and archeology. The venture is a risky one, but Samuel’s discoveries are fascinating and allow him to accomplish his mission, which is to restore the river’s history. Billion Dollar Wreck (2016) jb0579 Martin Bayerle, who first located the sunken RMS Republic in 270 feet of water south of the island Nantucket in 1981, makes his second major recovery mission to the wreck. The vessel, built in 1903 and sunk when she was inadvertently rimmed broadside in poor visibility in 1909, is rumored to have on board untold millions in face-value gold coins - an amount that could exceed $1 Billion in today's currency values. Bayerle, who was once imprisoned for manslaughter after shooting and killing a man who was having an affair with his wife and attempted to extort money from Bayerle to leave, may possess better information as to where on the wreckage the gold may rest; he's assembled a group of proven salvers, including his own son, to dive, explore, and if possible recover the entombed riches.

Dives deeper than ever before into the extraordinary stories of relentless perseverance and unwavering "always forward" spirit of the many searchers who have devoted their lives to unlocking the treasure hot spot's many secrets. It also explores the great and sometimes deadly dangers that surround Oak Island -- all possibly caused by a legendary curse.
