Alex, Edu, Fred and Beto are four friends who live torn between the role of man in society and the need to be more sensitive. They try to understand the female head and put themselves in the place of the opposite sex. They appear to be very safe, but feel totally lost around safe, independent women.

During the late eighties, three good friends, Yi Wei, Chu Fan and Da Wei, formed a band called "Crescendo" out of their passion for music. After graduation, they established "Crescendo" Music Company to realize their dreams. Many years later, "Crescendo" has established itself in the music industry and successfully nurtured many homegrown talents. Chu Fan, Yi Wei and Da Wei have finally realized their dreams. However, the music trend in Singapore has changed in recent years and fewer youths are interested in Xin Yao music. "Crescendo" music school faces operational and financial difficulties. Just then, Chu Fan's ex-wife, Mei Ling returns from overseas. She sees the potential in "Crescendo" and wishes to invest in their business. Da Wei's crush Xue Li returns as well to be a vocal coach at "Crescendo". Since the return of the two, the three friends find themselves embroiled in complicated love affairs. Chu Fan accuses Mei Ling of wrongdoing because of a misunderstanding.
Urban Angel is a Canadian television drama series, which aired on CBC Television from 1991 to 1993. Based on the memoirs of real-life Canadian journalist Victor Malarek, the show starred Louis Ferreira as Victor Torres, a crusading journalist for the Montreal Tribune. The series aired in the United States as part of CBS's late-night Crimetime After Primetime line up. The show's cast also included Vittorio Rossi, Dorothée Berryman, Vlasta Vrana, Ellen David, Dean Marshall, Michael Rudder, Macha Grenon and Sophie Lorain.

Buddies Raj, Rerun and Dwayne come of age in 1970s Los Angeles. The trio have a penchant for mischief and trying to find ways of getting rich quick. The series, which predominantly features gay black and Latino characters, focused on many socially relevant issues, including same sex dating, same-sex marriage, same-sex parenthood, HIV and AIDS awareness, infidelity, promiscuity, homophobia, gay bashing. It ran from October 19, 2005, to October 4, 2006. After its cancellation, a film was produced entitled Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom, which was released theatrically in 2008.
