Nikki begins her first day as Barry Fouray's new assistant, planning a listening party for rapper Special Ed. Ahm demands his tape back from DeeVee.

At the Ride 95 FM concert, Nikki is tasked with getting rapper D-Rome on stage with Keith Sweat to perform a guest verse. Barry Fouray aims to get face time with label exec Mattie Taylor. Ahm and DeeVee get back into business.
Nikki attempts to sign rapper Imani X to Barry's new label, but her mother stands in the way; DeeVee takes part in a DJ battle; Ahm and his crew retaliate.
