After seven years of marriage, a couple decides to call it quits—but their “perfect breakup” quickly turns into a messy battle of pride, jealousy, and unresolved feelings. It's the summer of 1907, and cinema is in its infancy. In a northern industrial town two very different movie moguls are battling for the hearts, minds and purses of the local population. Frank Sheringham is an enterprising filmmaker determined to woo audiences away from the local flea-pit run by the villainous Albert Gold. The whole town becomes involved in the vendetta and three local children are at the eye of the storm.
Career-driven Veron was left by her husband Mario to be with another woman named Laura. What was supposed to be a new beginning for the two was short-lived as Veron's revenge would lead to unfortunate circumstances. 23 years later, Laura's daughter Clarisse lands a job as Veron's assistant. As soon as the latter finds out about Clarisse and Laura's filial relationship, she plots her revenge by engaging in a love affair with Jio--her protégée's husband. Driven by malevolence from a failed past love, "Magkaagaw" tells the story of a legal wife who eventually becomes the person she hated the most: a mistress.
Tang Buyan, the eccentric head of the Tang family is looking for the foretold "destined person", said to have a mole at the corner of his eye, who will help unravel the problem of her family's bloodline. By coincidence she meets Li Chengxi, the cool and elegant head of the Xuanqi sect, and they find themselves embarking on a hilarious journey together in search of the man with the teardrop mole, all while fighting monsters, cultivating friendships, and finding love along the way.
An experimental fusion of reality and fiction--a fly-on-the-wall look at government, filmed in and around the corridors of power in Washington. The series ventures inside the world of powerful political consultants--a world that few people ever experience first-hand. Produced on location in Washington, D.C., the largely improvised ten-episode series combines fictional characters with appearances by real-life political figures, all centered around the biggest political news of the week.
