After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana Foster realize that living on their own is not all that it’s cracked up to be.

After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it’s cracked up to be. Faced with new neighbors, new challenges and, of course, new romances, the sisters must depend on one another to navigate the City of Angels.

The residents of the Coterie throw an epic party, which Jude attends. Callie puts aside work for one evening to finally let loose and enjoy herself, but will it put her job as a law clerk in jeopardy? Meanwhile, Mariana tries to make friends with her new co-workers since she still feels like an outsider. Alice gets some upsetting news about her ex-girlfriend, Sumi, while Malika is confronted by her foster care past.

Callie’s love life heats up, especially after she reaches out to an old friend for some legal advice. Mariana’s attempt to get ahead at work has surprising consequences. Gael’s sister, Jazmin, reaches out to him for help.

Judge Wilson invites Callie and the other clerks over for a seemingly friendly BBQ that takes an unexpected turn. Mariana deals with a lack of diversity in her workplace and questions whether it’s the right place for her. Alice struggles with the responsibilities of managing the Coterie.

Callie and Mariana’s moms visit their new digs, but even with all the Coterie residents on their best behavior things get out of hand. Meanwhile, Dennis reveals a shocking truth about his past.

Callie plans to disclose her connection to Malika to Judge Wilson before Ben has the opportunity to undermine her and, in the process, learns she might not be the only one with a conflict of interest on her team. Meanwhile, Gael consults Callie for legal help for his sister Jazmin.

Mariana, Davia, Malika and Alice get dates on an app.

Mariana forms a women-in-tech “fight club” with other women in her office to deal with sexism in their workplace. Meanwhile, despite bonding over past traumas, Callie & Rebecca don’t see eye-to-eye on how to address a potential workplace harassment situation for a colleague.

While Gael is busy prepping for his upcoming art show, Callie is on edge about how much Rebecca knows of her living situation. Meanwhile, Callie urges Rebecca and Judge Wilson to take action to protect a young female clerk working for a judge with a history of harassment. Alice is roped into planning a wedding shower for Sumi.

It’s Davia’s birthday and the Coterie group goes out for an epic competitive bar-crawl, causing tensions to run high between the romantic “rectangle” of Callie, Jamie, Gael and Bryan; and a surprising run-in with Callie and Mariana’s brother, Brandon. Meanwhile, Alice struggles with Sumi’s constant flirtations during the evening, while Mariana and Raj bond.

Callie takes her moms, Mariana and Jamie to meet Judge Wilson and his family. Mariana & the other women at Spekulate face a heightened risk of being fired when the spreadsheet they created to fight gender pay equality becomes less anonymous.

Gael’s art show brings together members of the Coterie for an evening that has emotions running high, especially amongst Gael, Bryan, Callie & Jamie. Mariana develops a new app idea to pitch to Evan, but the issues at Spekulate continue to threaten to thwart her plans. Callie learns some shocking information about the Jamal case.

Jamal’s trial begins, along with the Black Lives Matter protest Malika has organized, leaving Callie in a difficult position knowing she has information that could help Jamal’s lawyers. Mariana gets some new information about the salaries at Spekulate from an unlikely ally, forcing her to make a decision about whether or not to release the spreadsheet outlining the pay gap. Meanwhile, Sumi’s wedding day is here, and it’s time for Alice to face her emotions head-on.

Sarah Jane Smith is a truly remarkable woman who inhabits a world of mystery, danger and wonder; a world where aliens are commonplace and the Earth is under constant threat. A world that Maria Jackson, a seemingly ordinary girl, can only dream of – until she moves in next door. Nothing will ever be ordinary again.
Inspired by Krystal Marquis’ bestselling novel of the same name, the Bridgerton-esque romantic series, set in 1910 America, centers on the Davenports, one of the few Black families of immense wealth and status thanks to the entrepreneurship of formerly enslaved patriarch William Davenport. Surrounded by servants, crystal chandeliers, and endless parties, his daughters Olivia and Helen, and their friends, are finding their way and finding love—even where they’re not supposed to.

Notorious Los Angeles defense attorney Sebastian Stark becomes disillusioned with his career after his successful defense of a wife-abuser results in the wife's death. After more than a month trying to come to grips with his situation, he is invited by the Los Angeles district attorney to become a public prosecutor so he can apply his unorthodox-but-effective talents to putting guilty people away instead of putting them back on the street.

The City of Angels is falling apart, and crime pervades the city to the core. The mayor is corrupt, the police are inept, the city needs a figure to take control of the situation. Then in the light of day Darcy Walker is a cop, but in the dark of night she becomes the Black Scorpion. She does with a mash what she can't do with a badge. This is vigilante justice, old school style.
