The Driver is a three-part British crime drama serial aired on BBC One between 23 September and 7 October 2014. Written by Danny Brocklehurst and directed by Jamie Payne, it stars David Morrissey as despondent cab driver Vince McKee, whose life is turned upside down when he agrees to be the driver for a criminal gang.

Taking place on Kongo Bongo Island, the show focuses on Donkey Kong, the island's resident hero. Before the series' events, he was chosen as the island's future ruler by a magical artifact known as the Crystal Coconut, which is connected to a spirit known as Inka Dinka Doo. In the present, Donkey Kong must prove he deserves the role through his heroics and by simply guarding the coconut. Alongside various allies such as his best friend and sidekick Diddy Kong and his mentor Cranky Kong, he must protect the Crystal Coconut from various threats, most notably the villainous King K. Rool and his Kremling army who long to steal it in order to rule Kongo Bongo. Oftentimes, Donkey Kong has to juggle his guardian duties with his social life, his relationship with Candy Kong, and his love of gorging on bananas.

Jae-hoon is a timid man who works as a designated driver to make ends meet after being unfairly fired. When he becomes the target of violent exploitation by Jun-hyuk, a drunken team leader at a major corporation, he finds himself trapped in an abnormal relationship marred by power and emotional dependence. Within this toxic cycle, Jae-hoon struggles to reclaim his lost dignity and humanity.

Private detective Cassie Dewell partners with ex-cop Jenny Hoyt on a search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. Wacky Races (2017) is a reboot of the classic 1968 Hanna-Barbera animated series, bringing a fresh, modern take on the original premise while retaining much of the core essence that made the original show so beloved. The 2017 version, created by Warner Bros. Animation, aired on the Boomerang network and introduced a new generation to the zany, high-speed races of the characters. In this updated series, the characters from the original Wacky Races return, but with a more contemporary style and new backstories. The vehicles are also revamped with more advanced technology and a few new additions to the roster, though the classic ones like Dick Dastardly’s Mean Machine and Penelope Pitstop’s Compact Pussycat are still present.
