Ananias, a San Francisco Bay Area artist and immigrant, performs the folkloric Danza de los Viejitos (the Dance of the Old Men). Originally from Michoacán, Mexico, where the dance originates, Ananias interprets its movements through the lens of his spirituality, his long-term HIV-related disabilities, and his search for a place in the world.

In the 1970s, the golden age of gay pornography in New York City, a promising chorus boy is injured and told he will never dance again. Distraught and unimpressed with the "art" films playing seedy Times Square theaters, he gets his friends and lovers together and they start making their own hardcore movies. Against all odds the films are wildly successful until drugs, AIDS and cheap video technology bring it all crashing down

A general hospital in Gyeongsang-do in 1990. Woo-sik and Jae-gu are working at the hospital as a receptionist. One day, an AIDS patient enters the hospital. Woo-sik and Jae-gu are instructed to bring the bankbook and the young daughter, Tae-bun, from the home of the AIDS patient who did not pay for the hospital. They head to Tae-bun´s house in fear of getting AIDS.

Nurses on the night shift roll dice to see which AIDS patient will die next. The owner of a gay bathhouse gets Kaposi's Sarcoma but tries to keep his mind on profits.
