Inah lives a solitary life with her cat, Frida. Trapped in a process of grief, she retreats into her paintings. When Daniela, Inah’s granddaughter, comes to visit, she begins to notice some unusual behaviors. Amid moments of affection, joy, and forgetfulness, Dani realizes that Frida represents more of an escape than a refuge for her grandmother.

Lucas and Mateo are brothers and have a distant and somewhat conflictive relationship. What seems to be just another morning becomes the beginning of a new stage in their lives. When they wake up, they notice that their mother is not at home and they wait for her to return, but that moment will never come.
