As the world's energy supplies dwindle, the Orpheus, a research submarine, delves into the deep of the Arctic Ocean searching for rare micro-organisms, but the crew soon find themselves in peril.


The Orpheus' team of scientists are on a mission to find a renewable source of energy in the depths of the Arctic Ocean. The last team who went died in mysterious circumstances, so the Orpheus crew are already feeling nervous when a salvage inspector unexpectedly joins their mission. What does he know about the lost crew, and who is he working for?

The scientific crew on the Orpheus submarine runs into severe danger in their quest to find rare micro-organisms. One crew member has died, the Orpheus has been intercepted and two of the crew are trapped and running out of air. They have to escape, but can they risk boarding the mysterious vessel which looms above them?

The Orpheus crew's quest for renewable energy has led them into danger. They're trapped on Volos, a Russian submarine, and its nuclear reactor is dangerously overheating. Whoever shuts it down will be exposed to lethal radiation. Who will draw the short straw? Meanwhile Clem is determined to find out what part the Volos had in his wife's death.

The Orpheus is mended, and the captain wants the crew to find more of the rare bio-fuel samples before they return to the surface. The Russian captain has other ideas, however, and instructs his men to kill the crew. In their struggle to escape, some are left behind; will they be able to complete their mission?

The Orpheus crew have found rare bio fuels in the ocean depths, but they must find a way of getting it to the surface safely. With the Russian captain of the Volos submarine determined to stop them, will they manage to stabilise the energy source and make it back to the surface?

David McCallum stars as the rebellious Alan Breck Stewart, and this ambitious serial (a co-production between HTV and Germany's Tele-Munchen) also features a host of British character actors, including Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee and Frank Windsor. When young David Balfour arrives at his uncle's bleak Scottish house to claim his inheritance, his relative tries to murder him then has him shipped off to be sold as a slave in the colonies. Luckily for the lad, he strikes up a friendship with Alan Breck Stewart, who is on the run after Bonnie Prince Charlie's defeat at Culloden. When a ship's captain tries to kill Breck for his money, the two manage to get to land and set out for Edinburgh, dodging the ruthless Redcoats along the way.

In a heady tale of revenge and obsession, the outlaw Zastrozzi, assisted by courtesan, Matilda, abducts his half-brother, Verezzi, and torments him into believing his lover, Julia, has been murdered. His campaign of vicious psychological abuse signals a grisly bloodbath of greed, envy, betrayal, retribution, and eternal damnation.

It's the summer of 1907, and cinema is in its infancy. In a northern industrial town two very different movie moguls are battling for the hearts, minds and purses of the local population. Toko Ikuta lost her parents in a car accident at the age of 3. Afterwards, her uncle, who ran a barbershop in Morioka, raised her and she had a happy childhood. Toko Ikuta was active as a local idol and she dreamed of becoming an actress. At the age of 19, she is set to take an audition in Tokyo. The day before her audition, on March 11, 2011, the great Tohoku earthquake and tsunami hits Japan. In the autumn of 2011, Toko Ikuta works at a cafe. She goes with her Korean co-worker Han Yoo-Ri to do volunteer work in Kesennuma as the area recovers from the devastating tsunami. There, Toko Ikuta meets Kiyotaka Shimizu who is a university student from Tokyo and a member of a student volunteer group. While spending time together in Kesennuma, Toko Ikuta and Kiyotaka Shimizu develop feelings for each other.
