Overton is a small, countryside village where farming is its bread and butter and race horses are its beating heart. When the body of a local resident is found under a tractor, destructive forces are unleashed and the entire community is forced to watch their secrets exposed...…

When a dead body is found in the countryside, a remote community must open up.

Suspicions run high after the discovery of Cal's body. Cal's friends are questioned by the police about what happened on the night of the murder.

It's Cal's funeral and the Traveller community are preparing to put his body in the ground. Tina reaches out to Eli, but he's haunted by the unexplained changes he'd seen in Cal in the last few years.

Tina is shocked when Dominic offers her a chance to ride Blackout in a big race, and tensions run at an all-time high as the police continue their search for the killer.

It's the annual Warwick Farm pheasant shoot and, in the circumstances, Jackie wants to cancel. James is adamant he can handle it, but that's before Rob interferes.

James is in custody and the police are still convinced that he's guilty, but Ruth has doubts that draw her to Elizabeth Marshall's hospital bedside.

With Ian dead, Ruth is removed from duty on the murder squad and placed back on the beat, where she finally has to confront the possibility that she will never find Cal's killer.
Ruth is caught between loyalty to the Traveller community and exposing who she believes is the killer. Will she do the right thing?

In an isolated village in the north west of Ireland, a murder investigation begins when Garda Barry Roche finds a body buried in the bog. In the most personal of cases, Garda Conall Ó Súilleabháin discovers it is his mother, Sabine, who has been missing for 15 years. Conall is forbidden from working on the case, but is drawn into the investigation by a determined young journalist Ciara-Kate, who is using her true-crime podcast to expose the village's deepest secrets. As they unravel the truth, they must confront a community bound by silence and its own moral codes.

It's the summer of 1907, and cinema is in its infancy. In a northern industrial town two very different movie moguls are battling for the hearts, minds and purses of the local population. Frank Sheringham is an enterprising filmmaker determined to woo audiences away from the local flea-pit run by the villainous Albert Gold. The whole town becomes involved in the vendetta and three local children are at the eye of the storm.

David McCallum stars as the rebellious Alan Breck Stewart, and this ambitious serial (a co-production between HTV and Germany's Tele-Munchen) also features a host of British character actors, including Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee and Frank Windsor. When young David Balfour arrives at his uncle's bleak Scottish house to claim his inheritance, his relative tries to murder him then has him shipped off to be sold as a slave in the colonies. Luckily for the lad, he strikes up a friendship with Alan Breck Stewart, who is on the run after Bonnie Prince Charlie's defeat at Culloden. When a ship's captain tries to kill Breck for his money, the two manage to get to land and set out for Edinburgh, dodging the ruthless Redcoats along the way.
