Drama / Crime / Mystery
The story of a major road accident and a group of people who have never met, but who all share one single defining moment that will change their lives.

John investigates an accident involving several cars on his first day back at work. Those involved in the accident include a multimillionaire, a young black woman and a PA who has a secret.
The chaotic aftermath of the collision brings more twists and surprises. When Senior Investigating Officer Ann Stallwood arrives to take charge of the whole operation it becomes apparent that she and Tolin have history. Tolin interviews Gareth in hospital to find out if the officers who pursued him and Alice were responsible for the accident. But why did van driver Danny Rampton flee the scene? And what exactly has secretary Karen Donnelly stolen from the chemical company where she works?
Danny Rampton makes contact with his brother Jeff and they meet in a pub, while Tolin acquires the CCTV footage from the hospital as he pursues the Karen Donnelly case. Husband and wife Tsegga and Naomi make arrangements to be reunited in England, but things fail to go to plan, and James Taylor leaves his rented accommodation when he fears the net is closing in on him.
The release from prison of Harry Canwell opens up old wounds for Tolin, while Christine struggles to come to terms with her mother's death. A landlord passes on vital information about James Taylor and the search for Danny Rampton comes to an unexpected conclusion.
DI Tolin closes the case, and several other mysteries are resolved as Christine's husband makes a shocking confession, Sidney's name may be cleared, and an amateur video may explain everything.
